Overview

This 3D2N adventure takes you from the savanna of Sembalun to the top of Mount Rinjani (3,726 m), down to the crater lake and hot springs, and ends with a scenic trek through the rainforest to Senaru village. Ideal for experienced trekkers who want the full Rinjani experience — summit, lake, and jungle descent.

Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival – Transfer to Senaru – Optional Waterfall Tour

• Pick-up from anywhere in Lombok (airport, Senggigi, Kuta, Mataram, Bangsal, etc.)

• Private transfer to Senaru village (3–4 hours)

• Check-in at your accommodation (included)

• Arrive before 3:00 PM? Join a guided trip to Sendang Gile & Tiu Kelep waterfalls (entrance fee + local guide included)

• Dinner included at the accommodation

• Evening briefing with your guide + gear check

• Overnight in Senaru

Day 1: Senaru – Drive to Sembalun – Trek to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m)

• Early breakfast, then transfer to Sembalun village (1,156 m) – ±45 mins

• Register at the Rinjani National Park office

• Trek begins around 8:00 AM from Sembalun

• Hike across open savanna with rest stops at Pos 1, Pos 2, and Pos 3

• Lunch at Pos 2 or 3

• After lunch, climb the steep “Bukit Penyesalan” hill

• Arrive at Sembalun Crater Rim camp (Plawangan Sembalun) at ±4:30–5:30 PM

• Enjoy sunset views of the summit and Segara Anak Lake

• Dinner and overnight in tents

Day 2: Summit – Lake – Hot Springs – Senaru Crater Rim Camp

• Wake up at 2:30 AM for summit attempt

• Light breakfast, then start climbing to Rinjani Summit (3,726 m) at 3:00 AM

  • Approx. 3–4 hours up, 2 hours down

  • Reach summit by sunrise (6:00 AM) and enjoy breathtaking views of Lombok, Sumbawa & Bali

• Descend back to the crater rim camp for full breakfast

• Trek down steep trail to Segara Anak Lake (±2.5 hours)

• Enjoy lunch at the lake and soak in the nearby natural hot springs

• After lunch, climb up to Senaru Crater Rim camp (2,641 m)

  • This climb takes about 2.5–3 hours

• Arrive in time to watch the sunset over Mount Agung (Bali) and the Gili Islands

• Dinner and overnight at Senaru Crater Rim

Day 3: Senaru Crater Rim – Rainforest Trek – Senaru Village – Drop-off

• Breakfast with a sunrise view of the lake and summit

• Start descent through dense tropical forest around 8:00 AM

• Lunch en route

• Arrive back in Senaru village between 2:00–3:00 PM depending on group speed

• Quick shower and rest

• Drop-off to your next destination (Lombok airport, Gili port, Senggigi, Kuta, etc.)

6. The remaining balance can be paid by cash only on arrival in Lombok or in advance.
