Overview
A challenging and rewarding 2-day trek to the summit of Mount Rinjani (3,726m). This trek is perfect for those with limited time who want to experience the thrill of reaching the second-highest volcano in Indonesia. You’ll start from Sembalun, camp at the crater rim, and hike to the summit early the next morning.
Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival – Transfer to Senaru – Optional Waterfall Tour
Pick-up from Lombok Airport, Senggigi, Mataram, Kuta, or Bangsal
Private transfer to Senaru village (approx. 3–4 hours)
Check-in at your guesthouse (included)
If you arrive before 3:00 PM, enjoy a guided visit to Sendang Gile & Tiu Kelep Waterfalls (with guide & entrance fee included)
Dinner at the guesthouse included
Evening trek briefing and equipment check with your guide
Overnight in Senaru
Day 1: Senaru – Sembalun – Sembalun Crater Rim Camp (2,639m)
Early breakfast, then transfer to Sembalun (1 hour)
Register at the Rinjani Trek Center
Start trek around 8:00 AM through savannah hills
Breaks at Pos 1, Pos 2 (lunch stop), and Pos 3
Reach Sembalun Crater Rim around 4:00–5:00 PM
Enjoy sunset views over the lake and summit
Dinner and overnight camping at the crater rim
Day 2: Summit – Return to Sembalun – Drop-off
Wake up at 2:00 AM, light snack before summit climb
Start the 3-hour ascent to the summit (3,726m) with headlamps
Enjoy sunrise and panoramic views from the top of Lombok
Descend back to crater rim for full breakfast
Continue descending to Sembalun Village
Lunch en route
Reach Sembalun around 1:00 – 2:00 PM

The remaining balance can be paid by cash only on arrival in Lombok or in advance.
