Hiking & Camping Anak Dara Hill Sembalun

Anak Dara hill Is located at Sembalun Lawang Village, East Lombok. Anak Dara Hill has a height of 1,921 masl. This hill is often referred to as the twin brothers of Mount Rinjani.

Day 1 : At 08.00 am our team will pick you up at the hotel where you are staying (sembalun area). Before we start our journey, we register at the hiking trail office. Then, we start with a gentle slope route surrounded by height weeds. After passing that area, we will arrive on a fairly steep path and enter the forest area. Further, after exiting the forest, we will arrive at post 1. It takes 1 hour the trip from the entrance.

Moreover, the trip from post 1 to post 2 will pass the side of a towering hill with a slope of 40 degrees, and it takes about 2 hours to arrive at post 2. When you arrive at post 2 the porter will prepare your lunch, and you can enjoy the coffee/tea and relax your body for a while. From post 2, we will enjoy a route with a very exotic landscape to Puncak Anak Dara (camping site) to set up a tent.

The landscape of the Sembalun area with the rice fields, the height of green grass, and the cold wind make the weather a bit cold.

After traveling for about five hours, we arrived at the top of Anak Dara Hill. The Anak Dara hill is rarely visited, so the atmosphere here feels more calm and quiet. The tents are also not much set up in this area.

Day 2 : At 06.30 am, we will get up and enjoy coffee/tea and fried bananas from the top of Anak Dara hill. We can enjoy the beauty of the Sembalun landscape, enjoying the sunrise from this place, we will look at the sun rising from the east, and it directly faces the Alas strait, Sumbawa, and some of the dykes are also clearly visible from Anak Dara hill.

After enjoying the view and breakfast provided by the travel port, we continued to leave the top of the hill. Our team will take you to your next destination. Thank you.
